Yup, we're all puzzled by exactly the same thing. My answer has to just keep writing. I've heard, on good authority, that roughly 1% of one's followers get presented with one's new stories. Then a limited percentage of those 1% actually view/read your stuff. So ... just keep writing and don't quit your day job. :-)
