We all have so much stuff and life has been so good for all of us that for years we give no gifts to anyone but kids. Instead, as a family, we pool resources and make a substantial donation to a worthwhile organization - Equal Justice Initiative, Habitat for Humanity and the like. We're happy with this option and the kids in the bunch still get what they (think) they want. :-)
