Thank you Carrie for taking the time to read and respond to my work. While I suppose he could have seen something of a kindred spirit in me I think he simply perceived me as someone willing to listen without harshly shutting him down. From my point of view about that, knowing that many harbor unexpressed racist views, I’d rather listen and know their true feelings rather than not.

Now, as a more evolved person, I’m actively anti-racist. I still listen to what others say, I just react to it differently.
