My Medium Writing ‘Career’ … A Blanket Bomb

What’s happening? I need answers.

In a recent Medium universe mystery, new and different people are popping up in my little circle of reader/writer/friends.

I’m tickled pink, but completely at a loss to explain the phenomenon.

I’m even hesitant to comment on the influx for fear of jinxing it.

But, because I go where most fear to tread, I’m going to say a little something.

Why?

How?

I’ve not been ‘Chosen for Further Distribution’ for about a year, so that’s not it.

So, what’s going on?

My theories:

• In yet another egregious glitch in the Medium matrix, Medium is relentlessly pushing my horrifically shitty stories on people and they’re simply giving up and reading them in the hope that the flood will slow
• Twitter, just fucking Twitter
• Algo had a brain fart
• Algo’s unemployment insurance ran out and he’s now forced to work in a proper manner, with human supervision
