I'm wrestling with the same issue right now. If I spend weeks and think and really craft a piece of literature about 9 people will read it. If, on the other hand, I dash off a satire piece in 37 minutes, the same number will wander by it as well. It's been fun the write the more serious stuff but it sure doesn't make financial sense. Keep after it and please tell me when you strike the right balance. Then I'll come steal your success secrets. :-)
