I hear ya. One does what one has to do at times. As mentioned, I am keenly aware and grateful for my many privileges and freedoms which allow me to do whatever TF I want to do (mostly). And, no, this does not translate to "I'm rich". :-)

BTW the cost of living crisis can be avoided/mitigated by moving to a wide variety of locales. You just have to make the move work with the rest of your life.
