Happily typing away on a story of some kind, seated across the dining room table from my brother.
We were in Hanapepe, Kauai ā the west side ā at a generous friendās house, enjoying 10 days of concentrated bro time, when I looked up and saw this.
All writing stopped.
We went outside, awed, and took pictures until the last bit of fire faded.
