The basics:

1. Bottom line — just write funny. You don’t have to have a doctorate degree.
2. Doctor Funny is all about being funny. Approach that from any angle you wish, but keep it funny-focused. Readers landing at Doctor Funny should be amused, cheered, enlivened, and entertained. Satire, sarcasm, sardonic, all works. Evil dark stuff … no. If reading your own stuff makes you LOL or ROTFL we probably will as well. Send it in.
3. Please format your contributions correctly. Be your own doctors’ assistant and clean up your messes. Check the Medium formatting rules https://help.medium.com/hc/en-us/articles/225168768-Writing-and-publishing-a-story, stick to them, then contribute your work to Doctor Funny. Particularly important — make sure your story images are properly credited, captioned and free to use. I (and you too I’ll bet) have zero interest in explaining anything to a judge.
